We spend our days in a sea of maternity swimwear and we love it... but we know it can be tricky shopping online so to help you wade through the various maternity styles available we've put together some shopping style tips.

If you’re worried about your tummy choose a tankini with side ruching. Tankini’s offer full coverage without being as form fitting as a one-piece swimsuit. Features such as side ruching or flowy style tops will distract from your tummy.

We all know black is slimming so if you’re worried about wider hips look for swimwear with solid dark bottoms. But don’t be afraid of colour, give your shape balance and go for a printed style top.

One-piece swimsuits provide great coverage for any stretchmarks or scars. Plunging necklines will draw attention upwards instead of towards your middle.

Breastfeeding mums looking for more modest coverage should consider swimwear specifically designed for nursing. These styles will allow you to nurse your baby discreetly without exposing your belly or breast.

Highlight enhanced cleavage, it will help distract from any other problem areas. Just remember that larger busts need increased support so look for swimwear in specific cup sizes, with wire or side boning support and go for thicker shoulder straps.

Lift sagging boobs with a halter-neck style. Soft cups will help shape, smooth and support your bust.
